A floater is often referred to as someone who is everywhere and can do just about anything – Here is a group of perfect examples!

Webelo I Pack 88 Cub Scouts recently put together packets of cinnamon oatmeal to donate to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Concord. The boys had the opportunity to hand deliver their donation of about 100 bags and meet the volunteers who run the food pantry. They learned some history of the building, in which the food pantry operates, and how there are so many local families who are undergoing hardships and need food and other necessities. Thanks to the people of St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry and to Peter Weaver who took photos during this outing.

Thanks to Peter Weaver who photographed the outing!

Officer Wright of the Concord Police Department led the Cub Scouts through an informative, historical tour of the Concord Police Station – Each of the boys (and some siblings) got the chance to sit in a squad car and operate the lights and siren! Wright gave lessons on safety, the importance of 9-1-1 &  the role of dispatchers. The pack was released without question and was free to take home some Concord Police paraphenalia!
